还有一种材料是细木工板，我们又可以把它叫做大芯板，这种材质主要是利用天然的旋切单板与实木拼板经过涂胶、热压等程序制作而成的板材。对于细木工板的制作方法可以分为两种，分为机器拼制和手工拼制，手工拼制的方法主要是利用人力将木条镶嵌在木条的夹板中，但是这种方法做出来的细木工板受挤压能力较差，不适合作为据切加工的材料。但是机器拼制出来的板材就没有这种缺点，相反它的称重能力很强且不易变形。
